Season Opener at Beachton, GA

The Roller Hockey Club just got back from its opening events in Beachton, GA. The A team opened up very strong against in state rival FSU with a 9-3 win, with freshman Franco Richter having an impressive 3 goals and 1 assist. Next game was against USF. This game took place minutes after USF beat UCF in football and so we were back for revenge. This was a tough game put pulled a "come from behind" win with Jeff Cohen scoring an empty net goal to complete his hat trick with :45 left to go. We endured some injuries and had to play our last two games short players. We fell short and lost both games to BCC and FIU. The B team had a stunning 4-0 weekend beating UF B, Miami, Tampa, and FIU B. The b team is now first seed in the division and will compete NOV 2-3 in Ft. Myers.

Roller Hockey "B" has Success

The Roller Hockey Club B team just got back from an impressive weekend. They went 3-0-1 with victories over defending regional champions UF-B as well as U of Tampa, and FIU-B. Their last game of the event was the biggest, playing the UF D1 A team. Down by 1, they came back to tie the game at 4, with only 7 minutes remaining. They were able to fight hard and hold them off, and come out with a tie. This is extremely impressive, and makes a great name for entire Roller Hockey Organization at UCF.
