v. USF
CJ Schmidt
2/23 /2008

After having the start of the game delayed by heavy
rain, the Central Florida Knights prepared to take on
cross-state rival, South Florida. Less than one minute
into the game, midfielder Gio Jordan scored the first
goal of the game after winning the opening face-off.
The defense stayed strong throughout the first half
behind goalie David Thomas as he recorded his highest
save percentage of the season while allowing only 2
goals. In the second half, defense continued its
dominating play as goalie MJ Levy entered the game.
The Knights moved on to 4-0 as attackmen, Casey Hodges
and Mike Vallone led the team in scoring. Come out
next week to watch the Knights play host to Virginia
Tech at Bishop Moore High School on Saturday, March
1st at 1pm.
